Leading a Healthy, Fit, Happier Lifestyle

Leading a Healthy Lifestyle is essential for a healthy, happy life. Nowadays, Americans are eating way too much than what an actual portion should be. Did you know that our American portions of food are 2x as much as any other foreign country? It's not wrong to eat too much... maybe you're just hungry. But the important factor is whether your food has the right vitamins and minerals your body needs. You can consume the most food in the world, but it has to have the necessary amount of vitamins. Or else, it's just a waste of food. Our modern foods are mostly contained of calories and sugars more than vitamins and minerals. This means that we are consuming more junk food than vitamins and minerals. Eating all that junk food and consuming all those calories would only build up our excessive body fats. Sadly, our body is attracted to junk food more. These junk foods barely have any minerals. Not enough minerals makes our body function not properly.

Food companies create food for the looks and smells to attract you. They add in as much flavoring and sugar as possible to make that food taste good... but it may not be healthy for your body. Companies don't care whether it's good for your body. All they care about is the income coming from their sales. Of course, the better you like them, the more you'll buy, allowing them to receive more profit. Not everything out there is healthy. YOU have to make the decision of whether you want to eat something healthy or not. YOU are the boss of yourselves and your own diet. You can't let food control your body. You have to control what you eat.
We are naturally attracted to junk food and sugars. It's a fact. We have to stop ourselves from eating those junk foods and drive our bodies to healthy lifestyles. For example, we should consume more vegetables and fruits to our diet. This way, we'll receive the necessary amount of vitamins our body needs for the correct functioning. Correct functioning includes the right production of cells, strong bones, etc. A healthy lifestyle will drive you to less diseases.
Now a healthy lifestyle doesn't mean you can't eat ANY junk food. You just have to control how much you eat of that junk food. For example, you can't be hoarding bags and bags of chips. A few chips a day wouldn't hurt... just don't hoard and live on it. Once in a while, you can splurge on junk foods. But make sure that your main diet every day consumes more vitamins than junk, you'll be fine. Remember, vitamins always has to "way more" on that scale than junk.
Another problem some people are facing today is eating the right amount of food, but no exercising or being active enough. This also creates excessive body fats. Don't hug the TV from morning to night. Go outside. Play ball. Swim. Walk in the park. Jog a mile. Hit the gym. Get the groceries... by walking instead of driving. Take the stairs! These are all simple ways of getting daily exercise. Exercise does NOT mean you have to hit the gym or get a personal trainer. Build your exercise routine little by little and you'll be in a healthy, fit body sooner than later. Don't think of this lifestyle as a chore or a diet... you should slip into this routine in your daily life. You'll get used to it. Soon, you'll see the results and you'll even feel different. Happier You. Happier Family. Better future. And that's what a healthy, fit lifestyle should be for.
